Melamine-based foam, high sound absorption capacity and reliable fire characteristics without the addition of flame-proofing agents make Basotect^® suitable for sound insulation in buildings. Its ability to withstand high temperatures and its low flammability also allow it to fulfill technically demanding thermal insulation tasks, particularly where there is a requirement for the absence of fibers.
